Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that focuses on teaching meaningful skills and reducing behaviors that interfere with learning and daily life.
ABA therapy uses individualized strategies, ongoing assessment, and data collection to support progress in areas such as communication, social interaction, daily living skills, and emotional regulation.
-
Full Moon Foundations ABA provides services for children and young adults ages 1–21.
Many insurance providers require an autism diagnosis for ABA services to be covered. Coverage requirements may vary depending on the insurance plan.

Direct therapy sessions are typically provided by a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
Each child’s treatment program is designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who monitors progress and provides ongoing clinical guidance. The BCBA regularly reviews progress, provides supervision, and updates the treatment plan to support meaningful outcomes for each child.
-
The number of therapy hours recommended varies for each child. Recommendations are determined following a comprehensive assessment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Full Moon Foundations ABA does not use preset therapy hour models. Services are thoughtfully recommended based on what will best support meaningful progress.
Recommendations may change over time as skills develop and needs evolve.

Yes. Caregiver collaboration is an important part of ABA services. We work closely with families to share progress updates, provide guidance, and support skill development outside of therapy sessions.
There are regularly scheduled caregiver collaboration meetings with the supervising BCBA to review progress, discuss goals, and learn strategies that support your child’s development across different environments.
We prioritize meaningful caregiver involvement rather than simply maximizing therapy hours, because the goal of ABA is to help children develop skills that support greater independence in daily life.
