Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Part-time positions available
Compensation: $16.50–$22.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, competency assessment, and service location.

Services are provided in home, daycare/preschool, school, and community settings throughout Arkansas.

Minimum Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 5 months of hire or active RBT certification

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to pass required state and federal background checks

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel independently between service locations

• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (if driving between service locations)

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed and sit on the floor during therapy sessions

• Ability to move quickly in active situations, including standing, walking, and physically engaging with children and young adults ages 1–21 to support safety and participation in therapy.

• Comfort working with children who may display challenging behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, sexualized behaviors, or property destruction, with support and guidance from a supervising BCBA

About the Role

Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Consistent attendance, reliability, and professionalism are essential in this role to ensure continuity of care and meaningful progress for the children and families we serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA

• Collecting and maintaining accurate data

• Collaborating with families and caregivers

• Participating in ongoing supervision and performance feedback

• Maintaining professional and ethical standards in accordance with the RBT® Ethics Code
